How to get over a million views in a week!!!!!...

Friday, June 11th, 2010

This is how to launch a video on "YouTube" and get over 1,000,000 views!... In previous posts, I've mentioned the impact 5,000 friends can have on your videos. It is really important to find 5,000+ people in your field. This will give you a platform to hit the million mark.

Launch Time

Monday is a good day to launch a video, I would say 10.00am - Ready for the lunch time rush. This will give you a few hours to write the description, keywords and embed the video on your website.

Launch Schedule

10.00 - Upload Video.
11.00 - Post Bulletin To 5,000+ Friends.
12.00 - Tweet Link.
13.00 - Post Link On Facebook.
14.00 - Send an email out to all your subscribers.
15.00 - Upload Blog Post.

Get to know your friends

The more people that want your video to be a success, the better chance you have!. If 5,000 people shared the video with their 250+ Facebook Friends, you will have over one million views easy!!!!!...

Your list's will shoot up and your video will hit the charts giving it more exposure and more views...

It all starts with networking and chilling out with people!...

Subscriber Funnel System - Building A Big Audience...

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

Have you ever looked at the established channels on "YouTube" and wonder how they ever got to 100,000,000 views?... It seems unachievable!... But it can be with a subscriber funnel system.

Subscriber Funnel System

Once you have your website in place, with links to "Facebook", "Twitter" and "YouTube". You then need to have a main place to collect e-mail subscribers. These are your list collectors, which will eventually total up to over 100,000 each!...

Tempting People Into The Funnel

In the early stages, the easiest way is to make lots of friends on social networks. Over the first year I made over 5,000 friends!. Then I started blogging to ensure that the funnel system started working:

Friends -> "YouTube" Subscribers -> Twitter Followers -> Facebook Likes ->

E-Mail Subscribers!!!!!

System All In Place?...

Maintaining the system after the first year is much easier. New visitors will find your website everywhere and people start sharing your videos once they hit over 100,000 views!. The best way to maintain your funnel is to add content every day and also to add a new video every few months to keep the buzz going on "YouTube".

Business Side

Over time, your site will be getting too much attention to keep as a hobby. For some people this can get stressful but imagine earning a good living from your hobby?. In 2011 the plan is to register "A Sitting Duck" as a limited company and to pay for an accountant to balance the books.

I would say to get to the business stage, you will need around 25,000 confirmed e-mail subscribers and around 5,000 daily visitors. By year 5 you should be getting X5 times this amount!!!!!...

How to build an influential "YouTube" channel...

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

Building an influential channel on the biggest video website in the internet world, will get you more traffic and sales than you can ever imagine!. The most subscribed channels are having all sorts of opportunities presented to them by different companies every day!.

Where to start?

I've been thinking about this and everything I read is about making good videos!. This is true to an extent but it will take you years to build influence with videos alone.

Also the days of "sub for sub" are going, people are finding it too time consuming and it can sometimes prevent you from progressing to "Partner Status". When you start a channel you have a few choices, which will effect your success:

* Channel Name - It has to be simple and make sure you grab the domain name!.
* Description - I also keep this limited to tempt people to visit the website to read more.
* Favourite Videos - People can relate to you if they have the same favourites.
* Links - Place links to your "Twitter" and "Facebook".
* Playlist - Set up a playlist with your domain name.

So far so good!

All those things you can do today!. Now you are in the position to make lots of friends!. Forget the subscriber figure and forget "sub for sub". Concentrate on making friends in your niche. Then when you've made 1,000+ friends, start saving for a HD camera or the "Adobe Suite"...

5,000 Friends

This is the magic figure to hit on "YouTube", every channel that has over 5,000 friends has had success with views and subscribers!. It also keeps you focussed on the long term plan and not on daily viewing figures. It will set up a foundation for the future and when you're ready to upload some videos, you'll have some nice momentum with the community you've already built.

Most of the established "youtuber's" have passed the 5,000 friends figure. This means if you're networking with these video makers and when the time comes to share your video with them, you may get some luck and have it placed in a top channel's favourite list and spread to all their friends - It can happen!...

Start slowly, it will have more impact when you upload a video!...

100 Top Diggers...

Monday, June 7th, 2010

I have been looking into "Digg" recently. With "Candy The Magic Dinosaur #4" all set to be uploaded, I want to make sure that it hits the front page!!!!!... If you have your website hit the front page on "Digg" and stay there for a day, expect over 50,000 unique visitors!!!!!...

What can you do with 50,000 visitors?????

First you have to welcome them, let them navigate your site and enjoy your content. Then you can ask them to:

* Subscribe to your channel.
* Follow you.
* Click the like button on "Facebook".
* Subscribe to your email newsletter.
* Share your website!...

You need to make friends with a "Top Digger"

"Top Diggers" are awesome for website owners. They hold the power to start a traffic surge and get people talking about your "dotcom". This is what you need to get noticed and build up a 100k subscriber base.

I think I've found the place to get in touch with "Top Digger" - Social Blade, if you can make a connection with one, then you have a good chance of getting on the front page and going viral!...

Top 5 websites to visit...

Monday, June 7th, 2010

If you're looking to get your "dotcom" off to a good start, you will need to get some readers. With "YouTube", lots of the channel owners generally stick to film making and leave out producing a blog, which is a shame. The top "youtubers" could have thousands of website visitors every day and build links for the future.

Social networking will get you 1,000 readers, no problem. If you want to increase this then you'll have to snowball your content and offer lots of tips and stuff to read, then you need to attract other established bloggers to link to you.

Top 5 websites to visit...

1. "Problogger"
2. "Kidrobot"
3. "Mashable"
4. "Weebls-Stuff"
5. "ColdHardFlash"

The 5 sites are well established brands on the internet. The best part is they have responsive readers that will check out your website, all you have to do is write interesting comments and become part of their world.
